The Church of St. Donat, one of the symbols of Zadar, dates from the 9th century. It is located in the northeastern part of the old Roman forum. The church is interesting because of its cylindrical shape.

A large portion of its architectural decorations, as well as the monolithic pillars inside the church are of  antique origin. The room in the church possesses incredible acoustics which is what makes it great for musical programs, such as the „Music Nights in Donat. “ The ticket prices range from 12 to 20 kuna, and the church is open for visitors during the summer season every day.
